307,767 Blade is marked "NOVELTY" " Pat Sept 9 1909" c. 1884 - 1902 This is most likely the oldest and rarest Gravity Knife you will ever see. You might want to save a picture of it, as the only pictures any one has ever seen of this knife is on the drawings shown on the patent. The knife has a steel frame and the handles are made of Ebony Wood.

Just a hair under 81/2 inches in open position. Handle is made of Ebony Wood and Steel, this is the Largest Novelty Knife Ever Made.

The Handle Very Tight with a few tiny hairlines, the Locking Mechanism works Excellent Locking Up tight Every Time! The blade does have some play in the open position but not much considering it is 118 years old! This knife works great , but please keep in mind it is 118 YEARS OLD! The knife does have some ware and tear as normal.
